POLIO-tics

 As I scrolling my Facebook, I saw a post of so-called Krantikari (revolutionary) people holding their student union's flag with around 10 to 15 school students in front of the school gate where I read up to grade 10. After that I automatically recalled some lines of the book or some rules of the school that clearly mentioned  that 'school is the place that must be free from any political means'. "What is happening?", I questioned myself. Then soon I decided to give this particular non-legal action as "POLIO-tics" rather than directly called "Politics". The reason behind giving that name is, this is a kind of POLIO Disease in the Nepal's leadership. 

Few years back the same bunch of guys organized a program inside the classroom to increase their influencer and carry their 'Blind-Folded' slogan. At that time I immediately commented on that post and one of the so-called leader of that program clearly said, "It is legal to include students in student's union and our higher authority gave that permission to organize it". I instantly replied with some hope and questions at the same time. "If so then what are the key issues that this students union can raise? Will it includes the real problems of students, better quality of education and their socio-economic problems? or it is just to increase the membership of your party at the end?" The leader then remained silent and didn't do any comments.

My goal of doing comments on the post which seems to be wrong was to know WHAT is happening and WHY it is happening? It's simple. Not more than that.

I know in the name of students union, they are playing with young minds of students and somehow try to manipulate them. They the so-called leaders blame other student unions for doing the wrong things. Blaming is the main 'ASTRA' (tool) here. The students easily believed on them and unite together blindly without knowing the long-term impact of it.

I am not saying that this is TOTALLY WRONG. But the WRONG part is the leaders who has ZERO sense of students career or interest on any educational issues/problems are leading the mass of students. The 'Blind-Folded' leaders lead the 'Blind-Folded' mass of people. This is POLIO-tics. Guided by some POLIO-tics minded people who believed that power and position are the only goal lead to the failure system at the end. We all saw it and still experiencing the failure SYSTEM. So, what is going inside the school and even inside the classroom is TOTALLY WRONG.

We all are so-rooted in POLIO-tics system. From entrance exam to getting a position in an organization, many of us used POLIO-tics as a RIGHT PATH or ONLY PATH. To get a bed in a hospital, to appoint teacher in a school, many of us choose the path of POLIO-tics. That's why whenever time comes we blindly voted the same POLIO-tics leader without thinking the long-term impact of it. And the next day, when we are travelling on a bus and stuck on a traffic then we openly said "Yo desh yestai ho, Nepal kaile pani bandaina". How foolish we are!

But we forget the root cause of big problem. The problem in YOU and ME.
